Trip Through Your Wires 28: Somewhat Original Again.
Oh my God, it's Chapter 28 of TTYW!

This marks a tremendous occassion: I finally have the story where I want it.  That's the reason the chapter's so long ... I didn't want to stop writing.  I was having hella fun.  Haha.  The MAN can reject my original fiction, but try and stop my fanfiction, bitch.  This train we on don't make no stops!

Also in the news, a Friend from my LJ list--I'll decline to name him, since I'm not sure if he wants that--recieved the honour of a sticky /b/ topic at 4chan.

/b/ is as deadly as an open gravel pit with electrically charged kelpies galloping around its bottom.  I usually let David venture forth and bring back teh Funny so I don't have to see deformed babies to get my daily Jesus LOL joke.  But this time, I made an exception and dove into 4chan.

Of course, within thirty seconds I came across a picture of Inspector Gadget raping Penny.  But at least I also found this:

Is that who it is? Holy shit, you'd think I'd know. I got to meet the guy a couple of years ago when the dude who writes Sexy Losers had a get-together in town, and he was as witty as hell.

Ghastly does some of the funniest shit ever.

Yes, yes he does. I stalk his page on Sundays. And yeah, that's him--I remember the pic from that Spotting Ghastly page he put up a few weeks ago. The glasses are a dead giveaway, as is the pipe. :D

You described 4chan perfectly. Only when you are truly able to walk through the sludge and dodge the barrels of flaming crap rolling at you, are you able to come out with the gold.

I'd like to think QuestionSwap can be labeled as such. I know I spent a good 4 hours on it yesterday. My spam folder got to like 3XX before I started mass deleting the replies.

The thread is still up, it's at 1450 right now.

Yes indeed, do not feel bad for not recognizing my newly restored, svelt form. I was significantly heavier when I last saw you. I had been very ill for some time before that get-together and and put on a considerable amount of weight. I'm now 85lbs lighter and feeling much better for it.

Hehehe. By golly, 4chan is proof why people with thin skins should be wary about putting photographs of themselves on the internet. Compaired to some of the things I've heard-tell of the famous (or perhaps infamous would be more accurate) /b/tards doing I'd say I got off pretty lucky with that simple caption.

And to answer my own question... はい、変態ですよ。

Ah, /b/tards how I secretly admire, yet almost fear you (truth is a significant number of readers on my forum are /b/tards so I know they're alright folk).

4chan, if anything else, has clearly assembled the best and "brightest" of the Internet. Well, at least the people who possess the skillset of being able to crush the childhood memories of millions of people who unfortunately click on /b/ every day.

...and yes, I was/still am a huge Inspector Gadget fanboy. :) You can imagine how I felt when I realized Gadget/Penny rape exists. Stupid naive me.
